Those of us who serve in Christian leadership are well aware of the increasing demands on our leadership in an ever-changing and complex world.
Enter…Leaders of Impact. Not just another course, conference, or seminar. Rather, Leaders of Impact is a leadership development initiative designed to give you traction as you deal with the realities of ministry.
Over a season, you and nine to fourteen ministry colleagues will meet a few hours a month as a cohort, learning to address specific ministry issues and weaving these insights into your ministry context. Each cohort will be lead by a gifted “been there, done that” facilitator who brings personal knowledge and skill to the specific ministry challenge. This cohort approach provides a high-level learning experience in a particular area of ministry, all the while developing the two ingredients so vital to leadership impact… integrity and skill.
Do you desire to create a culture of change in your congregation? There’s a cohort just for you. Would you like input on taking your youth ministry to the next level? There’s a cohort designed for you. Are you tired of doing ministry while you’re drying up spiritually? There’s a cohort intended to bring vitality to your spiritual life. And many more…
Leaders of Impact launches in the fall of 2009, here in south central Pennsylvania...October 2009 through May 2010 for 2 hours/month. To obtain a fuller description of each cohort, including a bio of each facilitator, a listing of dates and locations, and necessary registration information click on the link at the bottom of this page.
Pastoral Cohorts Are:
A place for a higher level learning experience, not a remedial class, or a CEU stamp.
A place for authentic relationships, not simply fellowship groups.
A place to look honestly at ministry dynamics, not to learn to fix other people.
A place to work collaboratively on issues, not individual therapy sessions.
A place to strive toward the next level of effectiveness, not another binder to add to your shelf.
